My Life is Like and Anime Because the Universe Revolves Around Me!

Yello, DigitalBoy here, I'm writing for Aniverse too now and stuff. So, for my first post, I decided to participate in a 'fun-robin' started by the anime blog Gar Gar Stegasaurus. The concept is that you are supposed to compare your life to an anime and show why aniime really is true to life sometimes! So I'm going to talk about how my life is just like that of Haruhi Suzumiya because I am the center of the universe! (On that note, I'd like to ask that you don't take anything you read in this post too seriously!)
Anime characters lead the kinds of lives that any would envy, since they never really grow stagnant. Something is always coming up to keep things exciting in one way or another. And for Haruhi, this is required or else there's the chance she will re-write all of existence! I can't say I'm any different. Let me get into a little philosophy (or alternatively, you could go watch Evangelion?)
Everything in the universe is defined to one person by their perception of it. I see a tree, and it is a tree because I believe it is a tree. Because of the things I think I know about trees, it will never betray it's duties as a tree. I think trees don't fly or randomely disappear, so they don't. If something was flying or disappearing, I'd give it a different name, and it'd no longer be a tree, thereby keeping the definition of a tree sanctified, so that nothing flying or disappearing will ever be a tree, and therefor a tree will never fly or disappear in my world. You understand? This is how reality is defined! It's only real as long as we perceive it as being real and reject anything not fitting our definition of 'unreal' from that definition, therefor defining reality. However, these definitions of the universe are only things we create ourselves.
When we die, all of our perceptions are destroyed. Therefor, it is akin to the universe, as seen through the eyes of the person who has died, being effectively erased. So, were I to die, the universe, as I see it, will be erased.
Now, in my opinion, life is something that should be enjoyed. I like the saying 'my function is to live, not exist. I will use my time, rather than seek to prolong it.' I need things to be entertaining to sustain willingness to live. Life should always be fun and exciting, becauase a life that you can't enjoy is meaningless. No amount of 'success' or things you think you need to do will matter in the end, because as the Count of Monte Cristo says, "death is certain, it's hour uncertain." Lets say I spent all my years working a job I hated all day so that I could be prepared with savings and retirement to never have to work again, but at age 40 I get hit by a truck and die. All of it will be pointless right? So like the Oingo Boingo song says 'when it's all been said and done, it's better that you had some fun, cuz no one, no one, no one, noe one, no one lives forever!' If I ever had to be restricted, unable to be myself or to enjoy life, I'd rather die than give in to that life.
Now, lets add things up - if I get bored, I will die, therefor destroying the universe. So that means the fate of the world is on my shoulders! I am the chosen one! Just like Haruhi, everything in the universe revolves around me! And it's true that I live an extra-ordinary life. Like an anime character, I stand out amongst normal people, and interesting things flock to me. The universe warps itself to appease me, so that I can continue living. I mean, last year my birthday was 8/8/08. And at the beginning of the year, I said 'I don't know how, but this will be the best birthday ever.' And then as it turned out, Otakon was on my birthday, and not only that but my favorite J-rock band, JAM Project, played on that day, AND played the obscure SoulTaker opening, which was the song I wanted to hear most! I mean, obviously some kind of force was at work there! I also live with a plethora of strange or eccentric people. I want my own TV show, damnit!
(He really went with something risky for his first post, didn't he?) (I'm not even sure I get it anyway. This guy's a loony.) (I feel sorry for the site owner....)
